On January 5th, our hopes for surgery and a near-full recovery for Rafinha were deeply shaken.
The new MRI showed that both sides of his brain did not develop, which unfortunately makes surgery impossible.
This was a huge blow for us as a family. But it wasn't the end of the fight.
Now, the path is different: continuous treatment, intensive therapies, and monitoring by the best possible professionals, so that Rafinha has the maximum development, comfort, and quality of life within his reality.
